Completed: 39. See an Ear, Nose and Throat Specialist
I average around two to three sinus infections each year. To avoid multiple doctors appointments throughout the year to get antibiotics, I decided to tackle this problem holistically. It was time to be proactive and not reactive.
I wanted to clear a few things up with the doctor: 1. To make sure I don’t have a deviated septum (I don’t) and 2. To figure out why I have post-nasal drip (a lot of it). The mystery continues because I’m not allergic to anything, but concluded that it was probably just the environment that causes my issue. Okay! He prescribed me a heavy-duty nose spray, which dries up the nose. The downside of the meds? Nose bleeds and after taste.
I tried it for about a week and hated it. I didn’t see a big difference. So, I’m back to square one. If anyone has any good solutions, let me know please! Surgery is not a preference!
