Completing, but doubtful that I’ll finish: 12. Take a Picture of All of the LOVE Sign Statues
In case you didn’t know, Virginia’s slogan is “Virginia is for lovers.” Over the last few years, “LOVE” art work has popped up around the state to prove that “love is at the heart of every Virginia vacation”… or so they say.
In 2015, it is my mission to visit every single installation. It’s going to be difficult considering there are over 40 signs and the state is 44,744 square miles. In this blog post, I’ll document each visit.
So far, I’ve visited the following:
Ashland Train Station, Ashland
Richmond Int’l Raceway, Richmond
Maymont, Richmond
Hopewell-Prince George Visitor Center, Hopewell
Petersburg Pickers, Petersburg
LOVEwork at the Northern Neck Farm Museum, Heathsville
LOVEwork at Ma Margaret’s House Bed & Breakfast, Reedville
DuCard Vineyards, Ethan (dog photo bomb)
And I still need to visit…
Wolf Creek Indian Village, Bastian
Downtown State Street, Bristol
Virginia Welcome Center, Bristol
Cape Charles, Cape Charles
Humpback Bridge, Covington
Middlesex Co., Deltaville
Scott County, Gate City
Virginia Welcome Center, Lambsburg
Craddock Terry Hotel, Lynchburg
Old Town Manassas, Manassas
Virginia Welcome Center, New Kent
Norfolk Int’l Airport, Norfolk
Market Square, Roanoke
South Boston-Halifax County Visitor Center, South Boston
Check back to see my progress.

This is awesome, it’s been my goal to go to all of them as well! I’ve been to only one so far but plan to visit more this coming weekend! I’ll plant to visit Petersburg Pickers, Ashland, & Spotsylvania which you’ve all been to. Were they fairly easy to find?
Here’s my one at Manassas https://frankietotheskies.wordpress.com/2016/08/01/virginia/
Some of them easier than others!Good luck, Frankie!
Were any of the ones I plan to see, hard to find: Petersburg Pickers, Ashland, & Spotsylvania?
