Nellie’s is a gay sports bar in DC at which everyone is welcome. Naturally, as a straight woman from the Virginia suburbs, I have had few opportunities to visit. More like zero.
The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention were the beneficiaries of proceeds raised during drag queen bingo the night I planned to go. This is the essence of me: games that require no skill, drag queens, and a good cause.
I’ve noted before that I have no luck, which is why it was a total shock that I won not one, but two games of bingo. TWO!!!!!!!!!!!
Here I am picking up my first price from BaNaka– a disposable vibrator.
The crowd was pretty low-key, but of course, the entertainers was lewd and crude, which is my favorite.
