Here’s my list of uncompleted goals that I strongly doubt will be completed by the end of the year… with commentary:
> Not for a lack of trying. I inquired about lessons, but the school didn’t have any brass teachers. They said they’d call me when they got one. Never happened. I also contacted a nearby church who advertised “free music lessons” on their outdoor sign. They never responded back to me either, but it could have been because my email to them said something along the lines of “I want to learn how to play the trombone, but I have no interest in joining your church. Will you teach me?”
> I’m bummed out about this one. For some reason, I didn’t even look into completing this goal. Most likely, this will be a carry-over into 2013.
> I still want to do this. I had the opportunity, but not the cash or timing on my side.
> And I quote Kris when I asked him how he thought I did, “not even close.” I feel like I tried harder to not waste food, but at the end of the day, I don’t think it actually got me anywhere.
> HA.
> HA.
> Will be carrying this one over.
> I still will not be able to communicate with the deaf or most inhabitants of China.
> Ah, the goal I’ve had the longest. Whenever it does happen, I may combust.
If other goals are not on this list, but are still uncompleted in the 2012 list, I may have a tiny feeling I can complete them in two weeks. Light a vigil candle, all.
